My job is to research client's competitors and strategically create a functional and aesthetically pleasing website that appeals personally to the client, as well as to the majority of traffic to their website. I also manage and update the clients social media in a way that provides positive digital "word of mouth" advertising.
This position required me to build servers, troubleshoot issues with hardware and software, set up multiple VPS, maintain clients billing, handle DMCA complaints, monitor network traffic and stop DDOS attacks. I received customer complaints via a ticket system and real time online chat support. I also helped develop their website (which has since been updated again). I performed maintenance on the servers, helped migrate 100+ servers to a new location, and set them all back up, bringing 4000+ virtual private servers online without any data loss.
Responsible for cleaning all computer systems and maintaining the network. Removed viruses, updated software and hardware, made recommendations for software and hardware upgrades. Physically opened and cleaned (removed dust) for all computers in the building. (70+ systems)
Process Graphics Analyst. Recreate images of Conoco Phillips refinery in Los Angeles and program them with XML and MySQL to update in real time on the web with current pressures, temperatures, etc. Worked on location and remotely using Remote Desktop from home.
This was the title I gave to my freelance "everything computer" business. It covered basically everything from hardware to software, and simple website building to full on website hosting and maintenance. Services I offered were Virus Removal, PC maintenance, password removals, website building/hosting, custom PC builds, screen replacement (phones and computer monitors) TV repair, case modifications, software installations and many other various requests.
Studied Information Technology.
Studied web and mobile application development/design.
Studied basic computer web/graphic design.
Helped maintain the school's website. I went through an advanced Adobe Photoshop training course (35+ hours of video training after school hours) and also studied Dekstop Publishing.
